But in spite of this, the food was worse. Very bland and tasteless. The salads were served on hot plates, making them taste warm and stale rather than fresh and crisp. They were out of two primary entrees, turkey and meat loaf, which was what I had come in for. I settled for pot roast and mashed potatoes and was not happy with either one.
Authentic American food in a retro setting. Great place to eat with grandad, very family friendly and open. Not the fanciest place ever but it ain't supposed to be. This is old time American comfort food and conversation.
Nice home style cooking. Great service. We're from Texas and just passing through. But we'd certainly come back if we we're close!
Giving two stars instead of one because the staff was very friendly and courteous, although the service was quite slow.
First time to visit and very disappointed. First impression was that the place looked dirty...the dining area, the booths, the restroom were all in need of basic cleaning. Even the table condiments and salt/pepper shakers felt greasy.
I ordered a water and was given and charges for a very weak tea. Our waitress came out twice once to take or order and the other to put the food on the table that was all we saw of her. I wasn't impressed

Had the pork chop breakfast. The menu described the pork chop as "Cooked to perfection". That's a pretty high standard, but the cook delivered. Robin was our server and she was friendly and professional.
