Specialties are the hickory smoked BBQ ribs and giant chicken fried steaks. The original house BBQ sauce recipe is still in use. It's a mix of many interesting things and you've had nothing like it - people either love it or hate it. The onion rings are perfection. Place has changed hands a few times and generally not for the better. There is a tasty buffet on Fridays with all the good BBQ and tasty fried catfish you can hold. I still love the food here, but the interior of this old hap hazard structure is down right frightening. Go starving and concentrate on your food. Looking around at the place may make you lose your appetite.
Thank you for the delicious Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. The buffet and our server were great! He provided our party of eleven with prompt friendly service.
Chicken fried steak was big and delicious! Fried okra was good. Havarti Mac and cheese was good too (a little on the spicy side)
Have heard this was a great place. Must have been a bad night. Service was okay. Bbq night was a disappointment. The mashed potatoes were good. The ribs had a bad gas flavor.
Standard greasy spoon diner. Expansive menu means you'll find something for everyone. Not bad by any means, but nothing too impressive.
