I was broke down in this town for a few days. I couldn't have found a better place to stay. The mgr David and asst mgr Amanda made me feel as if I was a local. They went out of their way to help me. I will always be grateful for their kindness. These people including all of the staff is why I will be ALWAYS stay at the Fairfield's. If you are looking for the best---stay here!!!
The room was clean and the service was great. Small-town feel of service, really homey. I especially was impressed by the breakfast manager who recognized me the second day I was there (I was there for Breakfast the first morning but missed breakfast the second morning) and said that since I wasn't there, she saved honey for me! (I needed honey for my herbal medicine.) Despite the freezer in the mini-fridge being a little nasty (they tried cleaning it out once I told them about it after checking in but it was too difficult to remove without totally thawing the fridge) I'd still come back next time I return to Ponca City. The tub was somehow super slippery though, as if it was oiled. The manager put a anti-slip mat on it for me once I told her about it. Not sure why it was slippery. I think it just needed a lot more scrubbing. Could use more attention to details.
Rooms were clean - staff friendly & helpful - breakfast choices were great
Great location and the employees were very friendly. Since we've never been to the area we asked front desk for suggestions for dining. Steve went above and beyond our expectations with suggestions. From the mints on our pillows to the great continental breakfast I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
Rooms were a little small but all and all very nice experience and great breakfast
